Wolf Laurel Outdoors maintains a full menu of team building activities. This allows us
to customize a program that can be tailored to the needs of our clients, whether they
desire a specific array of exercises or need a program to fit certain time considerations,
at our location or yours.
The activities are specifically sequenced so that the participants move from simple to
increasingly complex tasks. This allows each person to acheive the greatest benefit from
an otherwise fun-filled day.

their inhibitions, and become mentally prepared to move into more difficult endeavors.
These are followed by a selection of initiative problems. In this phase, the teams
are presented with situations where success is not possible on an individual level. This
promotes listening skills, an appreciation of the interdisciplinary nature of problem
solving, and a whole spectrum of team values and issues.
The teams are now ready to tackle greater heights, and this advanced portion of the
program utilizes what are typically called trust exercises. It is here that the
groups are truly required to employ effective communication, creativity, synergy and a
willingness to take risks in order to complete each activity successfully.
We are particularly proud of the debriefing session that is used in our program.
Debriefing refers to that portion of the day where groups are facilitated in talking
about "what it all means" and how to apply it to their workplace. This is often
a blind spot with outdoor leaders and the process can be intimidating to them.
We have adapted our models from educational and cognitive psychological models.
The activity is fun and firmly structured in such a way as to assure that all of our
clients do indeed take something-useful back home with them.
